Thirty-five weeks

And here we are at thirty-five weeks.  Nolan is growing faster and faster each week.  He is learning so much and is always on the go.  He loves talking to himself in the mirror and talking to the baby in the books.  His favorite book is Hello Bee (probably because of the buzzing sounds we make).

Talk about moving.... his legs never stop.  The kid is on the go 24/7.  He is really saying mama and dada now.  He just started with the t sound so we get a lot of tatata also.  He has conquered spilling and playing in the dog bowls.  He also enjoys finding small spaces and getting into them.  Only problem is, he can't back himself out -- LOL.

Here are a few pictures from the week:

Playing with Daddy'd phone

"Yes, that's me in the mirror and I am so cute!"

"What in the world.... they are making noises at me!!"

He was sleepy... poor guy.

"Mom, these are chewy!"

Eight Months

He is officially eight months old today!!

I can't believe how fast time goes when you are watching a little miracle grow right in front of your eyes.  God, I love this child so very very much.

My baby bear is growing up so fast.

Thirty-four weeks...

Yes, I know, it's late again.  But hey, that is the story of my life right now.  I honestly think (when I lay in bed trying to find sleep, cause that is the only time I have to think) about how I am so lucky to have been laid off.  Why you ask, because I seriously would have gone insane if I had to work full time and do everything that I have been doing.  My house would be in shambles, my bills would be late (every single month) or I would double pay something, and my dogs would be skin and bones because I would forget to feed them.  I officially can say that I give single mamas a lot of credit.... and I only have one.

This week was so hectic.  We cleaned two homes (other than ours), had two doctor's appointments for Mommy, went to the park several times, dinner with Mommom which is now an every Friday night thing, celebrated Mommom's birthday with a crab dinner at Aunt Heather's, and celebrated St. Patty's Day.  Lots going on, but lots of fun.

Nolan is definitely on the move and he is into everything.  He plays with his toys but would much rather something that he isn't supposed to have, anything, as long as it isn't his.  His hair is crazy with his little piece standing up on the top, it's sooo cute though.  He sat in a big boy cart for the first time this week when we went to Lowes to get potting soil.  He was a bit unsteady but he did great!  He also sat in the big boy high chair while we were out for the the first time.  We went to get pizza and they brought out this old antique looking thing.  I put the cover on it and he did great.  It had a metal tray that he loved.  Nolan also got the enjoy swinging in his new swing for the first time this week.  I know crazy, right.  Swinging in March in PA?  Well, the weather was incredible.  He also used a sippy cup for the first time.  He knows what to do with it but he doesn't really drink from it.

I also gave him a cup to play with at Umpa's house to keep him occupied.  He no sooner had the cup and he was trying to drink from it.  I don't understand how he knew what it was for, but he know he was to drink from it and put it to his mouth... the right way.  So cute.

Here are some pictures:

Thirty-three weeks

Wow, what a week.  Talk about gorgeous weather, yep I am in love!  This winter has been strange with snow in October and then nothing but a few flakes here and there since.  Now the weather is getting warmer, to the point that we are wearing short sleeves already.... and it is only March.  I would have enjoyed one big snow storm this year, but you know with weather that gets me to the park everyday, I am not complaining.

After cleaning on Tuesday and spending much of the day in the house, we spent several days outside the rest of the week.  We had dinner with Mommom on Friday and saw many of the same people we normally see at Friday dinners.  Sunday was spent with Aunt Heather, Uncle Ryan, and Mommom.  Heather decided to do a BBQ so we went there for food and drinks.  Nolan had fun and even had someone to play with, see photos below.

I spent a lot of the week tweaking some things for Wyatt's Wishes and redoing parts of our FB page and blog.  I spent some time searching for another job (no luck with that) and trying out some new recipes (thank you Pinterest!).

Nolan now moves through the house pretty well.  He is getting into everything and loving every moment of it.  He does his hand gestures more frequently now and twiddles his thumbs a lot.  He has realizes that doors open and close and he has about 12 bumps on his head because of it.  He seriously talks to the dogs, I swear he talks to them.  The sounds are the same every time.  He also is saying Mama pretty darn good these days.  He is now crying when new people are around to the point I think it offends them.  My sister came over on Friday and Nolan was in his highchair.  All she did was talk to him and the tears started.  Yes, I know.... he is by far a Momma's boy.  It's okay, I love it.

Well, here are a few pictures from the week:

Thirty-two weeks

And the time just keeps on ticking...

Nolan is getting so big.  He is moving across the floor pretty fast at this point.  It's only a blink of an eye and he is on the other side of the room.

He just moved to stage two foods (well he ate one on Monday).  He had vanilla custer with bananas and he loved it.  I think I would have too!

We enjoyed the park again this week, this winter weather is crazy this year.  On Saturday we even went to the park with Mommom.  We also went out to dinner on Friday with Mommom and lunch on Saturday.

We cleaned Umpa's and Mommom's houses this week.  Nolan was pretty good but it's hard for a seven month old to remain occupied while cleaning for three hours.

OH, and how could I forget... Nolan has started twiddling his thumbs... it is so cute.  Maybe I can catch it on video for next week.  He has also started putting his right hand up like he is enunciating his words, LOL it's so funny.  I call him "the Italian" when is does it.

Here are some pictures from the week:

Thirty-one weeks

Holy moly... I missed a whole week and didn't realize it until just a few days ago, so this post will definitely be late.

Thirty-one weeks and still I shake my head at where the time has gone.  I feel like it was just yesterday that I had some major stones and I was praying little Nolan was arrive soon.

Well, since this is a week late, what did we do.... I started getting into sewing these new taggie blankets for my ETSY shop.  They are really turning out nice.  Nolan and I had a lot of time together and we went to the park a few days.  The weather was a bit cooler but still not winter-like.

Nolan is really get the hang of moving.  He gets himself to were he wants to be in a matter of a few blinks of an eye now.  He still does the military crawl but he is getting much better at it.

He loves his baths still, something I don't think he is going to grow out of just yet.

Due to a bit of "binding", we had to try prunes this week.  OMG, he loved them.  He ate the entire container!

Here are some photos:

"Yep, Mommy makes awesome taggies!"

"I see you!"

"Hold up, what?!"
